The Studio Of Christopher Belluschi

The internet is a wild place and we are grateful for it. In the midst of the Joss House project last June, Karie got connected with Christopher Belluschi. Christopher is an incredibly talented and up and coming sculptor, great grandson of Pietro Belluschi. When Karie mentioned a visit to Christopher’s studio, we were absolutely thrilled! Christopher welcomed us into his workshop nestled in the NW Hills and shared with us some of his inspiration and a few stories from his recent time in Carrara, Italy, with his mentor.

A month later, we came back to Chris’s studio and pulled our favorite pieces for an editorial at The Gordon House, you can take a look here: Wilma at The Gordon House.

It was an absolute please to meet Christopher, see his work and get excited about what he’ll bring into the world next.

Our visit to Belluschi’s studio was a perfect example of the beauty that lies underneath all the visuals you see. So much talent in our city, so many connections waiting to be made and collaborations ready to come to life.
