This iconic mid-century modern property nestled in NW Portland, home of artist Eric Marcoux and his husband, Eugene Woodworth was recently brought to market by the thoughtful team at Vetiver Street. We had the pleasure of collaborating with them on a two-phase approach to style and photograph the space.
For phase one, we styled and photographed each room using Eric’s own work, which included paintings, sculpture and ceramic vessels. We also curated some of the couple’s belongings from around the house: furniture, books, etc., in an effort to document the home staying true to the creative energy that inhabited it for over five decades.
During phase two, we curated and brought to the space a selection of vintage furniture, alongside works of local artists, to help accentuate the creative nature of the home and emphasize the calm and sense of reprieve felt as soon as one enters the property.
Collaborating artists: Benjamin Ewing. Carma Ferrier.
