Wilma
at The Gordon House
Artful Curation
Editorial Styling
Editorial Photography
For this Wilma campaign shot at The Gordon House, an Oregon home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1957, we leaned into the architecture and materiality of the space to create a ‘livable’ gallery installation with an editorial look and feel.
An artful and eclectic curation of beautifully designed furniture pieces by Alvar Aalto, Ligne Roset, and Arne Vodder, among others—all part of the Wilma collection, breathed life into this culturally significant house.
Exquisite chair lines resting on the iconic red floor let the eye travel through the expansive living room, while a curation of works from local ceramicist, Carma Ferrier, and sculptor Christopher Belluschi were brought in as core styling pieces that softened each scene and added to the mastery and beauty of Wilma’s collection in the property. A wonderful dialogue between iconic architecture, modern design and mastery all around.
Most thankful for The Gordon House Conservancy and Nordic Knots openness to collaborate on this project.
